Preparing for Partnering: Planning for a Productive Conference

Join us for an online event where we will help you get ready for partnering in 2026!

This session is intended to support South Australians and Western Australians heading to BIO 2026 in San Diego (June). However, it will be equally valuable for those about to engage in partnering or investment conversations, particularly within a conference setting. If you are planning to attend these type of conferences in the future – such as AusMedtech 2026, The MedTech Conference (US), BioKorea or AusBiotech 2026 – then this session will be helpful in ensuring you are prepared to make the most of the investment into attending.

Whether you’re a first-time attendee or a seasoned pro, this session will provide valuable insights and tips to make the most out of global conferences designed for partnering. This webinar is available exclusively to companies and innovators based in SA and WA.

In this webinar, we’ll focus on:

  • setting your partnering objectives
  • identifying your target prospects
  • creating a compelling online presence (using the BIO Partnering Platform as an example)
  • communicating to prospects to secure a meeting
  • scheduling meetings in BIO

You’ll hear from two MTPConnect Stakeholder Engagement Directors who have considerable experience in business development within the sector, attended numerous international partnering meetings, and pitched healthtech to prospective partners:

  • Dana Bell, Director, Adelaide Intermediary Program, SA
  • Dr Tracey Wilkinson, National Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator, MTPConnect & Director, WA Life Sciences Innovation Hub

This event is being held in conjunction with activities supported by South Australian and Western Australian Governments:
