WAGES Strategic Workshop – Building Your Research: Demonstrating Capability, Impact and Leadership

Workshop designed for Indigenous EMCRs and non-Indigenous EMCRs working in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health research.

This workshop series, delivered in partnership with Maali Hub from the Our Collaboration in Health Research (OCHRe) Network, invites Expressions of Interest from Indigenous EMCRs and non-Indigenous EMCRs working in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health research to participate in a career development workshop focused on building research capability, impact and leadership.

This interactive workshop has been designed to help researchers better articulate their capability, identify and communicate their impact, build a strong research narrative, and plan their progression towards research leadership. Participants will also have the opportunity to hear directly from experienced Indigenous research leaders and engage in discussion about career development, research identity, leadership, and independence.

WAGES workshops are subsidised by the WA Future Health Research and Innovation Fund and therefore free for attendees. Due to capacity limits a selection process will be used if the number of applicants exceeds the number of places.

Time: 8:45am to 12:00pm AWST (followed by networking lunch for WA participants from 12:00pm to 1:00pm AWST)
