Register for WAGES Workshop on Collaborative Bids – July

Registrations for the WAGES Grant Development workshop for large collaborative grant bids are still open.

This workshop, delivered in partnership with SPP, is designed to help WA health and medical researchers, innovators and start-ups strengthen major national funding bids.

The workshop is a practical masterclass on what distinguishes successful applications focusing on impact and what assessors value. Participants will gain a clear, assessor-informed understanding of how to position their research for competitiveness, identify high‑impact improvements, and take actionable steps to increase their chances of securing major grants such as MRFF, NHMRC, CRC, ARC programs.

A limited number of workshop participants will have the additional opportunity to take part in a one‑on‑one session with SPP, providing tailored strategic advice on their bids. As places are strictly limited, participants will be selected in advance and notified ahead of the workshop to allow time for preparation. If you are interested in being considered for a session, please indicate this when registering.

WAGES workshops are designed for teams to come together and develop and enhance their ideas into a strategic plan for a grant application. Therefore, each registrant is encouraged to nominate up to 3 team members who also attend the workshop.

This workshop will suit WA health and medical researchers, innovators and start-ups intending to apply for a large collaborative grant such as (but not limited to) MRFF Frontiers, NHMRC Partnerships, NHMRC Synergy, NHMRC CRE, ARC Linkage Projects, ARC Centres of Excellence, CRC and CRC-P.

NB. Preference may be given to those intending to apply in 2026/2027.
