Over 200 people from across the sector gathered at Fraser’s Restaurant in Kings Park to reflect on a year of breakthroughs, partnerships and global impact, alongside WA’s Minister for Science and Innovation, and Medical Research Hon Stephen Dawson MLC, consular representatives from the US, Britain, and People’s Republic of China, and visitors from around Australia – and across the globe!
The evening featured a special presentation showcasing some of the good news stories from the year – funding success, investment into facilities, international connections and collaborations plus national and global recognition.

WALSIH also highlighted its impact milestones from seven years of operation, which includes support for 40 companies that have created over 628 jobs, 40 internships and received more than $143.5 m funding resulting in a total economic value contribution of over $375mM.
