WAGES Upskills Over 150 Researchers

With 6 sold out grant development workshops and very positive feedback from participants, AUScelerate has shared an update on outcomes from their WA Grant Excellence Service (WAGES).

Delivered by AUScelerate, WAGES aims to strengthen the competitiveness of WA researchers, innovators and start-ups to secure national funding and translate ideas into impact.

From February – July 2026, WAGES has supported 62 teams with grant applications, upskilling over 150 researchers, innovators and start-ups.

WAGES is delivering on its mission to build Western Australia’s research and innovation capability and competitiveness:

96% participants reported increased confidence
92% found workshop content useful

AUScelerate has acknowledged partners Synergy Health Solutions, WA Life Sciences Innovation Hub and Consumer and Community Involvement Program at Western Australian Health Translation Network and to the WA health and medical research and innovation sector for getting involved in this valuable WA initiative.
