The session helped participants explore what separates good applications from truly competitive ones, from building strong collaborative teams and demonstrating meaningful impact, to understanding how assessors evaluate major funding proposals.
One of the highlights was the open discussions about the challenges and opportunities that come with large-scale collaboration. Developing a major grant bid is rarely a solo effort, and the quality of conversations today reflected that.

Registrations for this workshop far exceeded the places available, and this strong response reinforced something we see time and again – WA researchers and innovators are eager to strengthen their competitiveness for major national funding opportunities.
